Excited to see this come out in @MucosalImmunol! We set out to find novel regulators of the intestinal antiviral response and discovered a broader role for IRF6 in controlling gut epithelial cell gene expression.

The lab’s first publication in @CellReports! We show that loss of MEF2A elicits R-loop accumulation and IFN production. R-loop associated molecules, ATR and DDX41, are required for the activation of STING.
