We identified new antiviral factors that when knocked out enhance rotavirus infection. This has significant implications for viral reverse genetics optimization and live-attenuated vaccine production. Huge effort by postdoc Yinxing Zhu and great collaboration with @baldridge_lab.

Our new CRISPR screen paper just came online: Different from the previous live/dead selection (PMID: 29662124), here we made a fluorescent reporter rotavirus and performed sorting-based screen.
