Husband & I, both over 70 & very tech savvy, had a horrendous experience on Alaska’s online sign up system. He finally gave up & luckily was able to go to a walk in clinic, standing outside in the cold in a not very socially distanced line. I spent hours online, finally got lucky

It seemed to me that the pollsters pre-election were conflating “unhappy with the state of the country” with “unhappy with Biden” when what people really meant was “unhappy with with GQP” & with what Rs & Trump cultists were doing to our democracy.

Alaska doesn’t start counting absentee ballots till a week after Election Day, something I just learned, as I’d never voted absentee in 42 years here. I had the ballot all done, but decided to vote early in person, despite my age (72), because I want my vote counted on Nov. 3
