The full decriminalisation of sx work is absolutely essential to reducing HIV transmission and fighting stigma. Calls to remove ALL punitive sx work laws in order to fight HIV have been made by health organisations worldwide, including @UNAIDS , @WHO , @MdM_France & @HIVIreland .

If @Bundeskanzler wishes to reduce sx work, his gov should start by addressing discriminatory migration laws, ableist workplaces excluding those with disabilities, insufficient support for those caring for children or elderly relatives, and prejudice against LGBTQ+ people. 2/3

The European Court of Human Rights ( #ECHR or #CEDH in French) has accepted to examine the requests of 261 sex workers in France against the criminalisation of clients! It is the first time the ECHR will be asked to take a decision on this issue. @STRASS_Syndicat @ProjetJasmine
