Why is the 'Wh*rearchy' problematic? This idea of ‘good wh*res vs bad wh*res’ perpetuates stigma and harms us all. Disproportionately targets workers who are already marginalised. Creates divide amongst the SW community.

Yesterday (14th September) was S*x worker pride day. On SW pride day we celebrate worker achievements, resilience and unity. We would like to acknowledge all of the brave workers this year who came forward to stand up against injustice.

S*x work doesn't have to be "empowering". It can just be a job. You don't have to be saving or studying to justify it. You can just be living and that's ka pai.

Beware of misleading information... "You can get a svgar daddy who will give you 3k for doing nothing!" Yeah, right. Anyone considering doing SW should be given realistic information about the industry. Contact NZPC for info about your rights, health and safety.
