Wait, I actually agree with Lindsey Graham on something -- we DO hate his guts! 2020 is weird if I'm agreeing with Graham on anything.

I teach my soc of law, policing, and criminology students that the police are no different than any other gang, except they have great PR so people assume police violence is allowable.

the BITE (behavior, info, thought, emotion) control model from cults may explain part, and that they pay a high price for going against their in-group's accepted scripts and ways of judging situation (losing friends, family). There's no alternate id/community to rely on
@michelletandler
oh no, people dress casually, won't someone PLEASE think of the ceo's and/or children? seriously, who CARES what a person wears as long as they do their job competently/well? A lawyer can write a brief in a shirt and shorts just as effectively as they can in a suit.

for sure - and that passive language shapes passive thought (this is by design, not blaming you or students). Our current social climate demands active thought to correct this.

at first I was going to ask why LeBlanc has been on 4 teams (his point totals had gone up prior to this season). Then I saw -59 with Niagara last season....going to assume defense isn't something he's especially familiar with

Saba on dad's side, was a professor of agriculture for years, helped other countries develop their irrigation systems, and Dad's a biochemist who now works with amorphous calcium carbonate as a medical treatment for multiple conditions, including Covid :)

don't make degrees necessary for as many jobs then. Make tuition more affordable without loans. Quit complaining at people who played the game the way they were told to only to get fucked at the end.

I tend to be risk averse so I would say yes; at the very least inform the guest of the possible risks and have them make sure they can either evacuate or have enough food/water/supplies if there's flooding

1) generally people getting vaccinated are more vulnerable and 2) oh no, younger people, who may be working with the public, are now getting vaccinated and stopping that spready. Clutch your pearls somewhere else.

prove that's actually happening. You are long on imagination and assertions, and completely lacking in evidence. Also, nice job quote tweeting yourself, is that your attempt to seem relevant?

asks the person spewing bullshit without facts to back them up. Got any more insights into today's attack, or gonna keep asking meaningless questions? I think we all know the answer is the later.

same company -- they wanted people to drive (which meant buying new tires more regularly because of wear and tear) and to get people to do that, they started rating restaurants. Get people eating tasty food (happy) so they don't realize they have to get tires sooner than expected

Absolutely right. If we want fewer plea bargains, we need more physical courtrooms and judges. Prosecutors KNOW jail is unpleasant and use that as a way force a deal - "if you want to go to trial, you're in here at least 8 months, but plead guilty and you're gone in 3"

just got second Moderna shot on Friday, still masking and will mask, washing hands regularly. Not seeing those habits change anytime soon.
@SharkCityHockey
you're blaming the mandate and not the fraud that EK9 perpetuated? Awesome. I hope you're a defense attorney. "Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, it's the law's fault this person is on trial, not their own behavior."
