I hear in my mind all these notes, and the notes are from a violin, and the violins are all I ever hear.

Now the evidence is undeniable. Assad still hasn't been brought to justice for his crimes. Thank you, @Reuters for your journalism. https://t.co/mD9IzfKQpS

For two years, Syria’s Assad government secretly trucked thousands of bodies from an exposed mass grave to the desert, trying to hide evidence of atrocities.

#ICYMI Kurdish proverbs have the remarkable ability to summarize a life lesson into one short, catchy phrase. Sure, you could give your son a long lecture about how hard work leads to a more satisfying life. Or, if you are a Kurdish father, you can simply tell your son a proverb

If you’re thinking of going to church tomorrow and you aren’t sure how to go about it, you can just… show up. People won’t be weird about it. You don’t have to talk to anyone if you don’t want to but ppl will prob be up for talking.

🚩In 2021 our coalition urged @Apple to add a “School Mode” that would limit iPhones to basic functions (call/text) during school. Apple declined. Our FTC complaint shows a pattern of Apple refusing critical child protective safeguards over many years. https://t.co/4XKUb9o3Fb

Here's the map of phone policies by state, as the school year starts. Red is best (full day); Orange is class-time only, which is much less effective. Gold is that local schools must develop a policy, any policy. https://t.co/eHkuFfJPiJ

Amazing how these companies straight-up lie in plain sight. I just test-created a ChatGPT account, stating my date of birth as November 2010, and there was no prompt to get a parent. Took 20 seconds.

Image copyright notices tend to block or force out actual visual literacy. Instead of telling us who made an image, and when, they report on the jpg retailer/medium in mock legal terms. "Source: photostock" or "via rawpixel" is pseudo-info. Artist? Provenance? Current location?

I don’t understand this thinking.👇🏽 What are you planning on doing with all of the people in England who are from different cultures? Throw them in the Channel?? What of the Scots and the Welsh? Who gets to stay?
@Miss_Snuffy Multiculturalism never works. We should stop trying. You adapt and if you can't, you go to a country that is more like you.

Bad pastors shatter their people. Good pastors are shattered by their people. A sad thing I've seen under the sun.

.@HackneyAbbott is 100% correct. This is why many unjust deaths will occur.
"Many people do not have confidence in the face of authority, and if a doctor raises assisted suicide with them, however tactfully or professionally, they will feel that they are being steered in that direction." @HackneyAbbott

An excellent article from @Jess4Lowestoft. To me, in straightforward terms, the #AssistedDyingBill necessitates a decision: do we prioritise autonomy for individuals who have the agency to choose it, or solidarity with those who will be pressured into it? I choose solidarity.
The Assisted Dying Bill is not progressive. As I argue in the @DailyMirror, the cracks of inequality will become chasms in a world where an assisted death hangs over the most vulnerable - and they will fall through. https://t.co/aIVRqwxGll

There’s a lot to object to in Trump envoy Steve Witkoff’s interview with Tucker Carlson, but for now I’m going to stick to just a few glaring factual errors on the part of Witkoff. | @jimgeraghty
