As an Australian from Melbourne I can confirm this. We think politicians are awful. The reason we did so well is a few things imo. Social cohesion is strong, virus wasnt political, the government paid people and helped out. Plus we have summer coming up and who wants to be inside

As a Melbournian I lived in Seattle when it was legal. The amount the city changed for the positive was remarkable. Legal cannabis limits the damage from alcoholism and greatly improves people's mental health. The cannabis here is unpredictable. It's not an option for most.
