I really don’t get the fuss about the Panorama show. It didn’t influence the American elections (as Panorama is geoblocked so only showed to a UK audience). Trump had already been impeached for incitement and widely accused of it by multiple USA media outlets.

The problem with the whole BBC issue is that we can no longer trust any media outlet to report on the story impartially. They are either one of the BBC’s competitors or they have a political agenda of their own to pursue. Journalistic integrity means nothing any more.

We live in a one party system. Leadership delivers nothing for us! Instead of making meaningful change, we are propagandized to fight over pretty issues. IDEA: All citizens, in every state, should form a lobby that threatens to recall every single sitting Congress member

Reform have suspended nine Kent councillors, include five members of the fire authority, which is now “a shambles and a threat to public safety” according to the Fire Brigades Union. But yeah, let them run the whole country.

The responses to this post have been quite informative. It’s informed me that Joey Barton’s supporters are just as vile and offensive as he is.

@Joey7Barton Nice sermon. What you did wasn’t free speech. It was verbal abuse and insults. You didn’t have a message, just an intention to offend. Learn the difference and you might keep yourself out of trouble.

Govt recovers £74 million from asylum hotel firms, in the same sentence @BBCBreakfast feel obliged to quote the Tories saying it’s not enough. Yes it’s a drop in the ocean but the Tories failed to recover anything, why? Because they’re probably Tory donors. #bbcbreakfast

During 14 yrs of Tory Government, there were 14 Prisons Ministers. The Tories never saw Prisons as a priority and left them to decline over those 14 years Labour inherited an utter mess, and it’ll take more than 18 months to turn that around. Reasonable people recognise that.

Academy Trust CEO pay is out of control. 💷 Some are earning over £500,000 a year - in publicly funded education. This cannot be justified while schools struggle for resources. It’s time for a CEO pay spine and a pay cap. We need money spent on classrooms not boardrooms.

Anyone whining that the the Chancellor referenced the Tory legacy in her speech about the economy should remember than Rishi Sunak pulled out the 2010 Liam Byrne letter at the final election debate in June 2024. Short memories.

Why? Because you cut sure start, youth clubs, ema, the police, local council budgets. You outsourced childrens care and youth prisons to G4S and vastly inexperienced staff. Your party doesn't believe in 'society'. Maybe start there.
