This will be my last tweet on Chris Mason for a while π What led him to say that Reeves misled the country is the img. All Reeves said was productivity is too low. Which was true. Because of media hysteria, media concluded tax rises coming. They fucked up. Not Reeves. Cnts.

This below shows more detailed editorial guidance for journalists. Masons defence is that he came to a professional judgement. But, I'd argue he used very flimsy evidence to come to that conclusion. It was an opinion, which is not okay.

Looking at the editorial guidelines. The subject matter of the article does appear to be a "controversial subject". Yet, Mason did not provide a wide range of views.

Two things jump out. 1st. They knew it would cause controversy. But they still proceeded. 2nd, that final paragraph does not make sense. Can anyone work out what they're saying?

For a bit of Twitter balance... Today my boy had his school nativity. Traditional Christmas bible story with some quirky modern stuff thrown in. Kids from all backgrounds, races, religions taking part - parents proud.

Wonder if Chris Mason will make a judgement on this?
This is significant: @Nigel_Farageβs campaign manager on camera admitting they spent 2x the legal limit. #FarageFraud

Great British Railways β coming soon to a train near you. π¬π§π The GBR brand will soon be rolled out on trains, websites, stations and more. You'll see it on the new app, a one-stop - shop where you can check trains times and book tickets without fees.

A few people have told me that Labour have done nothing for carers. Comms issue or ignorance?
NEW: @SKinnock calls it 'the epitome of a Labour policy'. For others, it's Labour's 'most radical policy no-one knows about'. βοΈMy @LabourList deep dive on the Fair Pay Agreement: a plan to finally give low-paid care workers clapped in Covid the dignity they deserve. Link π

Chris Mason hasn't published any BBC articles since 'that one' 9 days ago ππ. He usually writes every few days. Has he been on the BBC news?

Farage has defected to the Green Party. Farage "I agree with their populist rhetoric, views on migrant care workers and their opposition to housing migrants. I have worn green to signify this defection. Didn't need to worry about the right shade of course."

For too long, success has been measured by whether you go to university or not. That needs to change. Apprenticeships should have the same respect and opportunity. We're delivering 50,000 more apprenticeships over the next three years.

For those that did put in a complaint... have you had response from the BBC? Tumbleweed here.
Anyone want to join me in sending complaints to the BBC about @ChrisMasonBBC breaking impartiality rules? He made a judgement, when it should be the viewer that makes the judgement. Clear break of the rules. https://t.co/AssJjhe3oO

They need to investigate the source of the 800k for the Clacton house.
NEW: Nigel Farage has been reported to the Met Police by a former member of his campaign team over claims of falsified election expenses in Clacton last year. Richard Everett alleges up to Β£9,000 of under or misreported expenses, including to do up a Reform-themed office bar.

In an unusual twist @DPJHodges has written an article this weekend about how Keir Starmer is finished again. I think thatβs about the 42nd time heβs predicted that in 5 years.
