Tensors are instrumental in physics, machine learning and even biology. Einstein once begged a friend to help him understand them, fearing he was going mad. Joseph Howlett explains how they work:

@hsu_steve Instead of the tedious gene editing, chromosome editing/transplant with potentially large effects has been done. From my simulation, on average selection from 24 donors for chromosome transplant (ignoring adverse pleiotropic effects for the moment) could raise IQ from 100 to 160

A lot of punk bands at that time had nailed the sound but The Adverts were the first to try to take lyrics somewhat seriously imo. I wouldn't call their lyrics super profound or deep but still lightyears ahead of most contemporary punk bands.

The focus should be on helping/supporting students. Reorienting around IQ PGS is a punt and says, "wellll let's just select smarter babies instead", which is a complete fiction.

Whats funny about comments like this, is that if they've exhausted their abilities for successful school- or student-based interventions, and their next idea is to focus on a genetic-based IQ PGS, then you've completely lost the point.

I suppose one could start by looking at value-added models to see what percent of variation of educational outcomes is due to schools. (Versus things like individual differences.). One could also look to see if there have ever been any large scale educational interventions and.
