There was a reason why I was put off by this headline but I couldn't put my finger on it.
This headline should read “In Gaza, Israel is killing Palestinians waiting in line for food.”. Saying Palestinians “are prepared to die” for rice dehumanizes the victims, minimizes the horror of the aid massacres and absolves Israel of its role in the deliberate slaughter.
