Pre-print alert! A primary human alveolar #organoid model that allows for 1) long-term expansion of progenitors; 2) AT2 maturation; 3) AT1 differentiation in defined media. Regenerating AT2s and AT1s show opposite responses to IFN-gamma! @TheCleversLab

My final paper at @BCHStemCell @harvardmed @Carlakimlab merges cancer, inflammation and cell plasticity - we identified an injury/plastic state as essential for lung repair that is co-opted by early-stage LUAD! Exciting to see similar findings from @humam_kadara et al. in Nature
