Excited to share our investigation of a very unique Ebola patient in DRC/2019 just came out. The patient relapsed from this initial infection and unfortunately sparked a large transmission chain. Fantastic work with @inrb_kinshasa and Mike Wiley‘s lab

I’m a partner at A16Z and we just had a very compelling healthcare pitch from a second-time founder. Blood tests, but it only requires one drop of blood. How cool! I invested $351 million on the spot, making this our largest deal ever. Will share more in a blog post soon!

Okay, this is the biggest bullshit I've read all day; maybe there is no hope for some SV VCs – no accountability, no ethics. Maybe Elizabeth Holmes will need a cool $100m in prison for the next big thing in diagnostics; I'm sure @a16z is on standby. https://t.co/C7ZvmERXi9

Sharing some more #labdaptations for #DisabilityPrideMonth. Traditional pipettes are not ergonomical & put unnecessary strain on the thumb joint. While this is a more costly investment, these pipettes allow me to keep my independence in the lab.

Reflecting back on this weeks episodes of The Daily, showcasing the corruption/COIs of Joe Manchin and Clarence/Ginni Thomas. Stark reminder of prevalence of political corruption in western democracies, something to keep in mind when we hold our heads high looking elsewhere.

Dispatch from the recruiting front lines: a cunning defense against unsolicited/prospecting emails – just manually reply with "You have reached an email address that does not exist." Only problem is that you email from the non-existing email address... oh well, almost got me!🙂
