Most of Tunbridge Wells once again has no water. Latest updates on the West Kent Radio website. South East Water @sewateruk seems to be blaming the wrong sort of water running into its reservoirs. Read here:

South East Water is resuming water supplies to Tunbridge Wells despite continuing issues with purification, so it's now telling affected customers to boil their tap water, before it's consumed.

Govt can cut benefits or raise taxes at a moment’s notice. Give nearly 20 years notice of an increase in pension age and apparently compensation may be due at a potential cost of billions; to be paid by younger generations. Ludicrous.

Watching Labour MPs take a wrecking ball to nature makes me so angry & so sad. Their action tonight voting down amendments to the #Planning bill intended to protect wildlife & habitats from destruction is so reckless & so counterproductive. People didn’t vote Labour for this 👇

⚠️Planning bill update ⚠️ as expected Labour was whipped into voting down every amendment that would protect nature from this bill. They rejected the most basic fluffing protections for endangered species. They even rejected saving chalk streams! Now it goes back to the Lords

Reform UK group on Kent County Council has dropped from 57 to 49 in just 6 months. It's expelled 5 councillors in the past few days. Strangely 4 represent areas close to the leader Linden Kemkaren in Maidstone. Maybe some local history behind the bust up?

Great news - the legal challenge against a crazy second runway at Gatwick has been launched by @CAGNE_GATWICK . We are supporting this action and stand with Sussex residents on this. This is an appalling decision that endangers our countryside. https://t.co/Mj5xp4No3X

The Conservative leader of Sevenoaks District Council, Roddy Hogarth, has LOST a vote of no confidence tabled by former party colleagues who broke away in May to form the West Kent Independents. Many councillors failed to attend the vote. The council will now elect a new leader.

Emissions from aviation are frequently underestimated by excluding the warming impacts of non-CO2. As academics from the @UniOfSurrey and the @ThermeGroup have demonstrated in their new emissions tracker, we can and must take non-CO2 into account. https://t.co/PDgUze7GC9
