The main shift since November has been the growth of Reform UK (from 22% to 25%). The main driver of this is Conservative switchers - up to a quarter (24%) of 2024 GE Conservative voters now saying they’d vote for Reform UK, compared to only 14% in November and early December.

These changes can be largely explained by a large drop in Conservative support among over-65s (Reform now the largest party in that age group for the first time) and an increase in Reform support among previous non-voters (now at 62%).

Note, due to the margin of error (the statistical range within which the true result is likely to fall, usually 2-3% for opinion polls), small week-on-week changes in results may be caused more by random sampling variation, rather than reflect genuine shifts in public opinion.
