The Embankment cycleway (CS3) in London was purposefully built to be wider than was usual in order to future proof it. Some said it would hardly be used. Now there’s a decent case for widening it further.

The best way to get from A to B in London, in my opinion is by bike. 🚲 It’s free, fun & keeps you active. Most car journeys here are under 5km—perfect for a bike ride! If more of us rode instead of drove, we’d have cleaner air, healthier bodies & happier bank accounts. 💨💚
