An alternative view.
There is no AI economy. It loses hundreds of billions of dollars and all gains are in speculative valuation. The only one making a profit is Nvidia, and it doesn’t make anything. It resells Taiwanese chips to companies that use them to lose money.

Correct.
Putin thinks he's winning and he's inclined to keep going. I don't see anything now on the table that could put enough pressure on Moscow to get them to stop their aggression against Ukraine, notwithstanding the enormous cost of human life Russia is facing.

Both, unfortunately.
Once again, we must congratulate Putin on taking Trump to the cleaners. Putin has made no known concession. Then Trump had promised severe sanctions by August 8. But now his servant Trump wants to meet Putin next week. Is Trump POTUS or just a substandard clown?.

This guy is a stain on humanity. And what he is doing is also deeply damaging to America’s enduring national interests and place in the world.
We're fairly close to being able to very effectively treat cancer with mRNA, and this will be a huge setback. To be blunt: people you care about will die of cancer because of this decision.
