Meanwhile, I've found a lovely community on Mastodon, which feels much more suited to me personally. Plus, so many folks from the GLAM, open access, and open science spaces are active on there now, if they weren't already - it's the place to be for these conversations!

I've long found Twitter to be an uncomfortable space, but it's becoming more toxic each day. The mass amnesty being granted to suspended accounts (for harassment, hate speech, etc.) will make being around here unbearable. Plus, Elon's treatment of Twitter staff is just depraved.
