A lot of people posting about Rafael Luque and the role of ChatGPT in his prodigious output. But what I don't see enough of is the discussion of #Elsevier in enabling all of this. The vast majority of his 2023 papers are published by Elsevier journals. #PredatoryPublishing

Very happy that the long, long, long, long, long overdue day when the published results of all @NIH funded research is immediately freely available to everyone who can benefit from it. Kudos to the @NIH for making this happen, and eternal curses to the scientific societies,
NIH Director Dr. Jay Bhattacharya has announced that the NIH Public Access Policy, originally slated to go into effect on 12/31/25 will now be effective 7/1/25. Read more in his statement: https://t.co/iktaa5tlcO

I *loved* Twitter: a great Town Square for seeing cool new science, sharing new stuff, larking about & even discussion. But X seems to be run by a near-fascist punching down. I can’t in all conscience stay, so I’m out till @elonmusk is out. Ta everyone for all the fun – bye! x

And of course, the legendary Jiří Jaromír Klemeš, a well known #papermill author and corrupt editor had to be found in this journal, where he was EIC, editing his own paper! When will this madness ever stop! @ElsevierConnect just doesn't seem to care at all! #fraud
Dear lord! Another @ElsevierConnect journal with editors editing their own papers! The EIC of the Journal of Cleaner Production has at least 1 self-edited paper. WTF is happening with Elsevier and their 'environmental' journals? Nice spot from @Integrity88_PhD
