Rallying cry for AI tools: "Don't make drills, make holes.".
I've been building with AI, both as a dev tool and utilizing it for features. Along the way I've had to dislodge my brain from an old imperative, database-centric thought process. When people ask why we haven't come up with usecases other than for code generation, I think this.

I wish social media platforms were okay with “good enough” levels of engagement. With IG in particular it always feels like they're over optimizing for max time spent at the expense of what could easily be more meaningful experiences.
If you're wondering why IG is so heavily pushing video. Reels now represents the largest chunk of time in-app (45%) . This is more than 2x time spent on the main feed, and growing
