And yes, I'd do this for every client, small or large. Designing the entire experience has always been my passion. Its also so easy today to stand out. Even back in the day, doing this was completely surprising for most clients. Most of them only received boring, templated email

15+ years ago, running my own design studio, I would mail invoices to clients in custom, wax stamp sealed envelopes instead of only emailing a PDF. It took more effort, but clients loved it so much, they always paid on time and it became a memorable experience for them.

Shipped this week! You can now switch typefaces for your NOTES on @mymind to make them more personal to you. Nunito (Default) = You care about legibility but also don't want something too sterile and geometric. The roundedness of Nunito feels friendly, approachable but not too

January 9th, 2007 was most likely the last time people really LISTENED to a keynote, undistracted by their phones. It's still unbelievable what a monumental moment this was. I recently re-watched the keynote from 2007 and its fascinating how wild the audience goes on the most

I just remembered that very specific feeling when I wrote my first e-mail on the first iPhone in 2007. It felt like such a unique experience, so hard to explain.

Why I love running a business. If you’re interested in psychology, build a product and run a business. It is a vocation inherently about the human mind. To create an effective product, you have to understand how your user feels and what they need (or what they don’t realize

To all young designers: Be deliberate about who you look up to and pick your design heroes carefully. They will not only shape your taste, but also your sense of what's worth and what isn't worth chasing. Don't just follow someone just because they're an influencer, or seem

DEAR YOUNG DESIGNER → You don't need to become a grifter to be successful. I know it seems that way today, but trust me there is another way that's more meaningful and long lasting for you. Take some pride in your work. → You don't have to openly boast about your revenue,

It still feels strange that I ended up becoming a designer. It barely makes sense to me looking back. Growing up, no one around me (friends or family) was a designer. Zero outside influence. I didn't even know that it was an actual profession. Nothing about me pointed in that

None of these two attitudes are healthy long term. Self-confidence is important. But so is humility.

Fascinating how designers on Twitter went from: “10 years in and I still feel like a fraud with imposter syndrome” to “been designing for two months, I’m the greatest alive.”

This is my dream house in may ways: âś” Less is more approach. One big living room, all in one. Everything on the same level. Generous, but not "massive". Few to no traditional walls, natural room separators, plants, glass, shelves etc. Everything should feel like it just
