this dude is not admirable, but useful. fraudsters like this expose the hollow scaffolding which we think is solid. they do what stress tests should’ve. he’s pretty much the sql injection of startup recruiting. it’s also kinda hilarious. like, literally a black mirror plot.
PSA: there’s a guy named Soham Parekh (in India) who works at 3-4 startups at the same time. He’s been preying on YC companies and more. Beware. I fired this guy in his first week and told him to stop lying / scamming people. He hasn’t stopped a year later. No more excuses.

if you were @nikitabier, what’s the first thing you’d focus on with x?. my vote would be improving dm’s, possibly followed by feed with heavy grok integrations (incl. a new ranking model), solving the feedback loop problem of what’s valuable vs what’s slop with not just likes or.
all jokes aside there are so many things an ai first social network can do better but one thing that i keep coming back to is moving away from “likes”. what if we had ai driven feedback loops for thinking, not clout instead?. you don’t just get likes, you get:. - insight score.

lots of ppl are paranoid about data. email, financial transactions, photos…. which is all totally fair. a ton of companies have burned that trust. i am weary of this too. but i also realize that you have to trust *someone*. civilization runs on trust. your food, your home,.
@signulll For privacy. I don't want my bank statements to be in someone else's database. Even if they say they'll protect it or encrypt it or whatever, I won't trust them.
