If you want to do something great with your life—whatever that means to you—remember this: you get an unlimited number of tries. The only constraining factor is your lifespan. The worst things you can do are: .care what other people think, .not take risks, .fail slowly,.give up.

This popup is visual pollution on the internet. It’s gigantic, distracting, unnecessary, and seems to be everywhere.

Would it be better if Apple had a team of people obsessing about autocorrect, year after year, and failing to deliver, or if there were no people working on it all?.

My Doha flight tomorrow being canceled reminds me of the time I left Thailand a few years ago and saw my hotel on fire at the airport. Good luck or bad luck? I'd say good.

I wonder what Google Glass would look like today if Google had kept iterating on it over the past ten years. In retrospect, it doesn’t look nearly as dumb as it felt at the time. The form factor seems almost inevitable today.

This is the most interesting tech presentation I’ve seen in years. Beautiful engineering, clean and straightforward demo, simple script. James Dyson exudes passion.

I am going to say something that a lot of my friends have been thinking but have been afraid to say. I was optimistic about Trump and his administration. But that optimism is gone. He has epically failed, and this is a disaster. The random on-and-off tariffs, humiliation of.

Including a link in a post on this platform—to a primary source—decreases reach by as much as 75%. This is objectively harmful to humanity. The lack of intellectual rigor here is staggering, and the algorithm actively discourages critical thinking. The only thing it clearly.

I published something new:. Thoughts on thinking. I have been stuck. Every time I sit down to write a blog post, code a feature, or start a project, I come to the same realization: in the context…. (Link in the reply.).

All of my original thoughts are just early revisions of better thoughts that haven’t yet formed inside a transformer model.

Influential public company is infiltrated and its customer data is released to hackers. Response? Video of a guy in a basement issuing vague promises and accepting no responsibility. This video is a look at the institutional rigor within Coinbase, which I don't find reassuring.

HBO, among the world’s best brands, has spent millions of dollars and nearly a decade working on the impossible problem of naming its streaming platform. “HBO Go”.“HBO Now”.“HBO Max”.“Max”.“HBO Max”… again. Thousands of meetings. And no one ever said, hey how about just “HBO”?.

Anduril has the best design and marketing of any startup I can remember, and is solving extremely interesting problems. I’ve said this before—America's enemies should be terrified of Anduril’s competence.

It’s impossible to justify starting any large-scale, long-term software project right now because by the time humans can architect and build it, AI will be able to do it faster and better. It's the wait calculation from astrophysics, but compressed to months instead of decades.

The best consumer products should be allowed to win in the arena of the free market. If domestic products are not winning worldwide, the solution is not to artificially inflate the prices of better products (i.e. foreign ones) with tariffs. Instead, the government should.

23andMe has filed for bankruptcy. Good riddance. The company constantly ignored obvious, huge opportunities for improving the health and understanding of humanity with genetic testing, and instead spent years executing poorly on insignificant, mundane junk. Fast and complete.

Can anyone help me get direct contact info for @bryan_johnson? I'm a fan/follower of his Blueprint life extension protocol, but want to offer some feedback and help with design/positioning/brand/UX. Life extension treatments—grounded in science—are way too important to be.
