On November 18th, Filecoin Onchain Cloud transformed @Filecoin from a decentralized storage network into a fully decentralized cloud. It now provides a verifiable foundation for building applications that run on trustless infrastructure. ⤵

But new demand is not a ceiling for solar. The ceiling for solar is more expensive energy consumption. Levelized cost of solar is cheaper than coal and gas now. We should expect solar to eat away other forms of energy, even already-installed (spent capex) plants. Retrofitting
Solar + wind growth is outpacing global demand growth by more than 5% through the 3rd quarter of this year. Add nuclear and clean energy is outpacing demand by 10% per this @CanaryMediaInc graphic. @MLiebreich showed what 3% growth over 40 years would do... 1/2

2026 is going to be spicy 🌶️ Industry-wide red team would be useful 🔴👾 Specially for finding compositional attacks. Almost all teams stop auditing at their direct surface area. Few look at the complex ways in which their things are used with others.
Anthropic is now testing on smart contract exploits and discovering zero-days. This stuff is going from theoretical to practical scarily fast.

New on our Frontier Red Team blog: We tested whether AIs can exploit blockchain smart contracts. In simulated testing, AI agents found $4.6M in exploits. The research (with @MATSprogram and the Anthropic Fellows program) also developed a new benchmark:

Now ask your banker what's their reserve ratio.
re: Tether FUD From latest attestation announcement (Q3 2025): "Tether will continue to maintain a multi-billion-dollar excess reserve buffer and an overall proprietary Group equity approaching $30 billion." Tether had (at end of Q3 2025) ~7B in excess equity (on top of the

Energy transitions can happen faster than we think: In 2000 almost 90% of Denmark's electricity was from fossil fuels. In 2024 less than 10% of Danish electricity was from fossil fuels.

Finland's strategy of building entire apartment blocks for formerly homeless individuals as part of its "Housing First" model has been highly successful, contributing to the near-elimination of homelessness in the country. This came with the creation of apartment blocks

Wish we applied the same level of scrutiny to banks. Fractional reserve is crazy.
Wow. TIL Tether is not actually 1:1 backed with USD or USD equivalent (eg US t-bills). 30B of the 174B of supply/liabilities is actually just gold + BTC. See The Black Swan. Disingenuous financial engineering behind the scenes always leads to disaster.

China has invented a whole new way to do innovation, and more people should be paying attention and analyzing it.

Wow - China is catching up for drug R&D. With faster-to-recruit & larger trials. FDA needs reform — or the US will fall way behind.
I'm not super caught up on the whole "is this the dawn of the Chinese century?" debate, but I'll just say I'm pretty jealous of their biotech research and the pace of their advancements.
