People midcurving this take are also folks who have never actually used AI coding tools properly. 90%+ of all high-quality code will be AI-generated in the next 5 years. Yes if you naively vibe code, then you will get slop. But that has always been the case when you bring on.
~40% of daily code written at Coinbase is AI-generated. I want to get it to >50% by October. Obviously it needs to be reviewed and understood, and not all areas of the business can use AI-generated code. But we should be using it responsibly as much as we possibly can.

At this point I trust LLMs to do refactors better than I can. Humans are sloppy. We get tired or distracted by a random shitpost.
