We compared 10 p-tau blood assays in our latest paper in @Brain1878! P-tau217 is consistently better than p-tau181, mass-spect (MS) assays are better than best immunoassays, with MS p-tau217 reaching very high accuracy (AUC<0.93)! https://t.co/tfc4lJxZKw

Our most important clinical paper so far. In the @prevent_ad, 60% of our cognitively unimpaired participants with amyoid and tau PET binding developed MCI in ~2 years, a number that increased to 80% in those with hippocampal atrophy. The findings are replicated in 3 cohorts.

I am very pleased to (finally!!) share this paper co-authored with @andrealessa @pedrorosaneto in @eBioMedicine More evidence that #pTau231 changes very in #AD continuum – associated with subtle regional #Aβ deposition. #pTau217 shows ⬆️ fold-changes in symptomatic disease.

In this study @AgingMacc @HilalSaima we showed the association of blood-based cardiac biomarkers (NT-proBNP, hs-cTnT, and GDF-15) with cognitive decline, incident cerebrovascular disease, vascular events and mortality over the follow-up of 3 years in a memory clinic population.
