This is happening in Education If teachers aren't using ChatGPT/wtva don't assume it's because they are luddites or ignorant. It might be because they've realised LLMs make mistakes by design, have crap training data, fundamentally aren't suited to most teaching tasks and

STEM is objectionable, STEAM is ridiculous These are *different* subjects. With different ways of being and thinking. And worth that extends beyond their economic utility.

If the BBC are looking for new presenters who won’t bring them into disrepute may I respectfully suggest they employ more women over 50? We’ve spent a lifetime sorting out other people’s messes, can spot trouble a mile off and have no problem calling it out. You’re welcome.

Why do some people who have never worked in a challenging school, or even taught at all, feel compelled to tell teachers what to do? If you don't get why schools have rules about equipment, leaving lessons, and uniforms, maybe it's best to stay silent.

Before whole-sale changes are made to national behaviour approaches perhaps time should be spent talking to people involved in the behaviour hub program, to people who have turned challenging schools around & to people actually working in schools….
