Thinking about family and friends in Ukraine. My husband is Ukrainian, and I did the @FulbrightPrgrm there in 2004 (during the Orange Revolution). This picture is from Kyiv in 2018. Those are our boys in the front, and that sign in the back is 🎯 1/n

Really nice @inaganguli paper w/ Raviv, relevant to AI world: early career training underprovided by the market. You don't want to make it harder for young people to gain skills: here, higher min wage = less undergrad hiring as RAs = nontrivial drop in science employment later.

At the end of this podcast, @tylercowen jumps in to tell me and @patrickc why we’re both wrong.
EPISODE TWO - "Is Science Slowing Down?" @albrgr interviews @mattsclancy and @patrickc about the thesis that science itself might be slowing down, why that might be, and what we might be able to do to fix it https://t.co/7Ncl8ohX9r

I'm excited to introduce my upcoming book to be published by @yalepress #ChangetheWallpaper on the science of positive social change. If you've wondered: How can we as ordinary people fight for justice? Can one person's action have any impact on larger structural inequalities?
