2nd work from my PhD is out!🤩Mammalian Ogt (enzyme of reversible intracellular glycosylation aka O-GlcNAc) is an X-linked essential gene. We use a complementary approach to the direct removal of O-GlcNAc (the other paper) to study the role of this PTM in embryos: 1/9🧵

The role of Xist in tuning X-linked gene expression can happen outside of the developmental time window usually thought to trigger X-inactivation and is more flexible and dynamic than expected 2/3
