@Amanda_M_Hunter You can add the Phso to that list .. they have this going on at the moment if you have made a complaint to them in the last 5 yrs .. although again it looks like the student marking his own homework .,but still worth putting something forward if you can .

“What the PHSO DIDNT bother to mention was these ads were of SHORT TERM REGIONALISED nature.” Key point. Might have been 1 ad published once in my area. If I didn’t buy Angling Times how would I see it? Same situation for 3.8m? Also any mention of SPA increase? #50sWomen #Waspi

What the PHSO DIDNT bother to mention was that these ads were of SHORT TERM regionalised nature and some planked apparently on Billboards, such was their disgraceful attempt at ensuring #50swomen would never know of ANY state pension changes #waspi

@jannycat Inadequate information. Slogan aimed at anglers but nothing in it to say women’s pension age is changing. And there’s more: Graphic from PHSO: #WASPI

@GeorgeFoulkes @patmcfaddenmp What he said is untrue. PHSO has proved maladministration and compensation is due. Why do we have an Ombudsman?

@SkyNewsPolitics @emilysheffield @DawnButlerBrent Obvious from this discussion that you understand nothing about the decision made today about the lack of communication of SPA rises. PHSO decided maladministration had taken place and #50swomen were due compensation. What's the point of an ombudsman if they're ignored? #waspi

I had a case open with PHSO for over a year which they say they’ve extensively investigated. it got closed recently, with a wholly unsatisfactory response, which basically boils down to ‘she has EUPD’. which sucks. even more so because I don’t have EUPD diagnosed 🤯 #TraumaNotPD

@PeterWalshAvMA Trouble is the NHS doesn't care about patient safety. There are inadequate signals, & monitoring. Each Trust has different rules & procedures. PHSO is useless. Repeated issues may only get resolved in one small area. LCP banned in 2014 still continuing. Where are the reports?

Sounds weird!? But obviously it should do; whether it’s covered up or not I can’t say. One bit of advice, don’t go to the PHSO about it. They will allow the hospital to delay and put you out of legal time, as they did with two cases over my Mother’s care (same hospital)

@LorraineNorton What about an unconscious, critically ill patient who could not consent, who had a neurosurgical procedure performed by somebody who was not a neurosurgeon, nor in possession of any medical or surgical qualifications? Does that cause any legal or ethical problems?

The only part of this case the PHSO upheld was the hospital took too long to respond to questions. So in the current Parliamentary enquiry about satisfaction with the PHSO, where it’s asked “Was the case partly upheld?” It needs distinguishing what was upheld, something REALLY

@ShaunLintern @GreatOrmondSt Even with irrefutable facts and in the wake of the Paterson Inquiry that identified “wilful blindness” with the National Patient Recall Framework set up, they’ve neglected to make the NPRF mandatory allowing hospitals to refuse a recall , the GMC, CQC, PHSO, and all involved

The PHSO has a seperate function to the court re Maladministration and as you can see below it was well understood even by the DWPs own charter that DWP have a common law duty of care and that has been breached by the systemic failures evident from the material evidence provided

@frances_email Not what the courts said. In 2020 the court of appeal ruled there was no duty to notify those affected by the change in state pension age and…that there has been adequate and reasonable notification given by the publicity campaigns implemented by the DWP over a number of years.”

@jon_trickett @LabourList You say trust in politics is at an all time low I wonder if it’s because some MPs don’t even seem to understand what they’re advocating for? Because you clearly don’t understand why the PHSO made their recommendations for waspi compensation Or because they blame other parties

@19matt7627 @chrysatal @humphris_mark @WASPI_Campaign @UKLabour Maladministration was found by the PHSO. For the Government not to follow recommendations made by it's watchdog body is virtually unprecedented. This mess is all on the Government
