It is right that these revelations are investigated. We need a total clampdown on private lobbying. Profiteers should not be allowed to use their connections to influence government policy. Government should serve the people, not large corporations or the wealthy.

Britain 2025 . When ordinary folk protest about genocide they face police action. But when the governing class f**k up,, imperil lives and cost hundreds of millions of pounds it's all swept under the carpet. No one sacked, prosecuted, held to account, or even named.

Today @NEUnion have issued a statement defending the right to peaceful protest. It is signed by 22 General Secretaries. We're calling for charges against Alex Kenny, Sophie Bolt, Chris Nineham and Ben Jamal to be dropped – all were arrested at a protest for Palestine in January

Yes it's outrageous that employers pay poverty wages, in order to increase their profits and wealth.
Outrageous that someone on benefits can receive £25,000 a year - more than what two million people earn on the minimum wage after tax (@thetimes). This isn't just economically unsustainable, it's morally wrong. We should be rewarding work, not dependency.
