Thinking about problems that are difficult to solve may make you anxious, but not thinking about them (and hence not dealing with them) should make you more anxious still. When a problem stems from your own lack of talent or skill, most people feel shame. Get over it. (1/2)

It's very important for you to realize that other people's thoughts, words, actions, behaviour, and feelings are NOT your responsibility. What you think about yourself is more important than what people think about you. 🧠

This thread walks you through a concrete example of how an algorithm can learn racism. It uses some math but only the minimum amount of math possible and has lots of pictures. It is *very* accessible. If that sounds like your thing read on. 🧵👇

Tried to show @BorisJohnson the picture of Jack Williment-Barr. The 4-year-old with suspected pneumonia forced to lie on a pile of coats on the floor of a Leeds hospital. The PM grabbed my phone and put it in his pocket: @itvcalendar | #GE19

have to say Corbyn won that #bbcdebate - credible answers beating Johnsons pre-prepared soundbites Particularly good on Brexit, bringing up the lies on the bus, 7 years to do a trade deal and NHS for sale 👏 #bbcleadersdebate #GE19

It’s very clear that Jeremy Corbyn won the #BBCLeadersDebate. Boris Johnson couldn’t properly defend his plans so he just attacked Corbyn. Jeremy Corbyn, on the other hand, looked like a Prime Minister in waiting with a proper plan to help people.

Boris Johnson, as our Prime Minister, claiming not to know that one of our top diplomats has resigned today? Would Diane Abbott be allowed to get away with boasting of her ignorance like that? #BBCLeadersDebate

People say that politics doesn’t change anything. But it can. It was a radical Labour government that created our NHS and rebuilt Britain. Today, we must be ambitious on the same scale. #bbcleadersdebate #bbcdebate
