I'm VERY critical of much that the Ford PCs did.
But many sought "education chaos" for selfish reasons, & our kids were pawns.

I appreciate you both, but you missed 150+ days of driving kids to school & you’re telling me about a DAY’s pay. If we’d paid teachers at 85-90% salary to teach remotely, they’d have been sprinting to come back, regardless of the union stuff.

As a school bus driver and my spouse is a teacher. I was glad they kept the schools closed. Many parents refuse to keep their kids home when they are sick. I had 1 kid with pink eye on my bus, and 2 days later, we all had it. I had to cancel my bus run missing out on a day pay

I didn’t get it all right & I’m mad at myself I didn’t see what we needed to do until April 2021 - shouldn’t have been a single day of school missed after 2020, plain & simple.
And people who wanted them closed in 2022….i couldn’t comprehend that level of…..so much.
