Regulating LEGAL internet content should be an absolute non-starter. Beware of attempts to impose digital ID under the guise of “keeping kids safe.” It won't just be kids who have to produce their ID to random websites to prove their age — everyone will. This will threaten

I think old people were just as out-of-touch in the 1990s as they are now. But with one *very important* difference: They generally defaulted to conservatism, and thus couldn't do much damage. It's the difference between a car that stops when its operator becomes unresponsive,

Human rights went from "firing pregnant women is bad" to "you can't disagree with us on gender ideology" in a couple of short decades. Once intended for good, these tribunals have become a threat to free expression. My feature: https://t.co/6ggaLYYNyO

Food for thought. In The Prince, Machiavelli teaches that a ruler’s first duty is to secure the state, even if that means speaking and acting in ways that shock polite society. He warns that “men in general judge more from appearances than from reality,” and that a successful

As a social conservative crossing the floor to join a caucus that includes far left MPs, does she really think they’re going to make her feel welcome after the initial photo ops? There’s something very odd about this one.
I’m excited to welcome Marilyn Gladu as she joins our Liberal team in building a stronger, more united Canada. I’ve known Marilyn for a long time, and she’s spent years fighting for her community in Sarnia. It was great to be with her today and see that same energy and

Why would we punish people for being mentally and physically fit? Under the NDP, the human rights code has been twisted and abused to promote discrimination rather than to prevent it. Let’s rewrite the code and abolish its woke commission and tribunal.
The University of British Columbia (@UBC) just posted a job for a tenured professor of Forestry. There were 6,125 wildfires across Canada during 2025, with 21,782,339 acres burned. Salary: $120k-$150k "For this position, applicants must identify as having a disability."

The "rule of law" is one of those concepts, like "public interest", that has been bent toward a progressive worldview. I think what the CBA learned this week (if they are capable of introspection) is that a large swath of the public believes (correctly) that the rule of law
The CBA has quite a lot of power in Canada's legal system, which it uses to advance a progressive political agenda unrelated to the rule of law. https://t.co/qnzizF9FXv via @nationalpost

The story behind the New York Times’ 1903 claim that human flight was between one and ten million years away is even worse than it looks. Once you understand the backstory, you realize that the New York Times story is not really about flight at all but about how elites and

While we’re at it, perhaps the impartiality of the Canadian Bar Association should come under increased scrutiny, seeing as they play an integral role in the recommendation & selection of judges (a rep from the CBA sits on each Judicial Advisory Committee across the country).
CBA President Bianca Kratt, K.C., warns that recent media commentary questioning the impartiality of a sitting judge of the Ontario Superior Court risks undermining public confidence in the judiciary. 🔗 Read the full statement:

@CBA_News Public confidence in the judiciary is undermined by special treatment based on 'group identity'. In 21st century Canada, there is no valid argument for policies like Gladue, for special pleading due to perceived 'race' or immigration status. Justice is individual not social.

Fantastic account.👍 Look at the job postings in your area and share with people you know struggling to find work. Follow and repost the listings in your area. Employers are legally required to hire a Canadian over a TFW. We can beat the rigged system.
ROCKY VIEW TIRES LTD fined $60,750 for TFW violations. Share with Canadians. https://t.co/l368w6YA6f

Those who are angry about this are admitting something: they want to indoctrinate children. Same thing happened when ppl were mad at Smith’s trans surgery ban for minors: TRAs screamed that it was a horrible law but also insisted no such surgeries were even happening. Mmhmm.

K-12 and teachers colleges are ground zero in stopping the Long March Through the Institutions. It won’t be as simple as declaring an end to politicization of the classroom, although this is an excellent first step. It will be necessary to disband teachers unions and education

And yet, Canada passed just such a law with all-party unanimous support, despite knowing EXACTLY what it was about. Is anyone surprised?
To be clear, this was a law that attempted to ban therapists from telling gender confused boys that they're actually boys, and girls that they're actually girls. It was literally a law prohibiting anyone in the therapy profession from verbally acknowledging biological reality to
