I hate to break it to the “tankie” left crowd, but Marxism-Leninist revolutions rarely ever actually result in anything but state-capitalism. authoritarian leftists do nothing but recreate the power system of capitalism, while simply giving the power to another elite minority.
I hate to break it to the anti-"tankie" left crowd, but Marxism-Leninism is the most successful branch of socialism for a reason; because it's based in materialism and not utopianism. If you're expecting perfection after the revolution, you're going to be disappointed.
