Excited to share our new paper describing the structure of an SpCas9 adenosine base editor (ABE) out now @ScienceMagazine! Co-first authored with @Sarkele1, we captured a base-editor in the act using cryo-EM! (1/5).

These are challenging targets, CRISPR which are large multi domain RNA binding proteins and ChuA - an uncharacterized transmembrane protein. End-to-end design and validation would not have been possible without the hard work of @CyntiaTaveneau @_danielfox and all co-authors!.
