I was pleased to see Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge recognised in a new prize for the #PMPrizes. This $250,000 prize recognises the depth of Indigenous knowledge and its importance to Australia’s success and its future.
In 2025 the #PMPrizes for Science will feature a new category to recognise achievements from Indigenous knowledge systems in solving the most pressing challenges facing our nation and humanity. Learn more:

I’m looking forward to being one of the panellists on ABC’s Q+A on Monday night, which includes being alongside a physicist as accomplished as @bgreene. The subject is future tech which gives me a chance to talk about some of the amazing capabilities just around the corner.
