More on covid boosters. I haven't changed my stance: important for those who are older/frailer/at high risk, marginal absolute benefit for everyone else. If you want to avoid covid, masks & ventilation are what works.

Interesting study using data from the Netherlands. After 6 months: - all people who were initially off sick flu-like symptoms had returned to work. - 2% of those off with Covid were still off sick. - 7% of those sick with Alpha variant (ie pre-vaccination) were still off sick
First paper from my current job! From a large sample (>30k) employees we show that return to work after a COVID-19 infection is notably later than for other flu-like symptoms. Just over 1 in 20 employees were absent for more than 12 weeks. #occupationalhealth #OpenAccess
