Also add that Sarah J Maas stipulated in the publishing contract that she did not want an AI cover on her book months before they decided on this one. So now the publishing house is in legal trouble for tarnishing an influential author's brand. She could sue them.

I want more fantasy starring the mom. Middle age, may or may not be happily married. Instead of the trope her life ends when she has kids and she lets them wander off to action (or dies), she is the star of the story. I always find older female leads to be interesting MCs.

This is very important. If your contract doesn't specifically stipulate you are going to be paid extra for interpreting, then even if you had the certification, you should not be pressured to work extra.
If hospitals want their billingual staff to work extra, pay them.

It was the both his brother and sister-in-law. But quite true. There was a serial killer in northern Mexico City who got caught recently. Been doing it for 20 years. Only got caught because he unknowingly kidnapped the sister of a police chief who got a warrant for his house.

A lot of awesome diverse SciFi/Fantasy is not available in English. So when people ask me for Latino reccs, I tend to have a hard time thinking of English only examples because I primarily read Spanish language works.
There is also cool SFF in Portuguese I'd like to try out. 😏

I didn't grow up in an English language country, so my answer might be invalid since Spanish has much more clear-cut words to address someone in this context that offers a better definition if the moniker is endearing vs condescending. But I wouldn't like it in a work context.

Usualmente las convulsiones tonico-clonicas no se mueven con esa vibración tan rápida, o son muy suaves o son movimientos estereotipados en brazos y muslos. Si tienen dudas, miren las pupilas. Una convulsión se deben de ver midríaticas y eso no se puede falsificar facilmente.

I got my first review for my book sequel and I appreciate the reader for reading it so insanely fast and for giving such a thoughtful review.

It does feel quite magical to see your book in paperback for the very first time.
Felt so excited that I took the annoyance of using my seldom used fancy signature to autograph it. Now a 5th book of mine with my signature exists.
It was very fun to take a photograph.
