The point I make about the color picking is that the art is heavily reference from AI; not her natural style.
The character sheet of the boy; is AI generated with a paint over. She could create a color palette for her character instead of having to constantly reference back.

CivitAI basically telling artists that even if they make a report their models won’t be taken down.
CivitAI seems to believe people are entitled to commission an artist work without compensation. No one has this attitude over a new iPhone, etc.

When I took a look at the second image; I am now completely sure this is ai. Bob has multiple jacket collars, some of the collars are broken. The frame on the sunglasses is broken, normally I would say this is a stylistic choice but why is the frame bent?

The AI is basically a filter. A lot of times when I see people use AI it turns out they are img2img an artist work rather than prompting from the model. The AI is an excuse for plagiarism.

AI seems to attract bad people. That raid was 4chan trolling. They literally hate artists they can’t stand artists having therapy.
Yesterday during a therapy session for those being affected by AI artists, voice actors, visual designers/ likeness stolen, we had harassment with a hate raid. I believed better of people, but this really goes to show the lack of support and harassment we have been dealing with

AI users always use disabled people as a reason to use AI. AI is only going to make things worse for the disabled. Less people will be turning out more content.
I appreciate the sentiment, but this is like telling someone 100 years ago not to buy a camera, because you could pay someone to do an oil painting instead. It's just not a realistic expectation. The technology exists now. The world will have to adapt.

People that aren’t artists think that drawing is an inborn skill. The fundamentals of art are technically skills.
While what is considered good art is subjective. That doesn’t negate that art is a skill you have to spend years developing.
Everyone can draw, but not everyone can 'learn to draw' per se. Applies to all skills.
That doesn't justify A/I art, which is just theft, but the myth of skills being about "hard work and perseverance" needs to die.

AI shills always larping over disabilities. Instead of advocating for actual helpful policies; like more breaks and longer deadlines, medical coverage. They tell disabled people to stop creating art and let a machine do everything for them.
Many of the artists on here have demonstrated their dedication to keeping marginalized folks (including those with disabilities) out of their community and the marketplace.

I disagree I have spent hours on sketches, I don’t think 4 hours is the level of a finished illustration. I typically think of sketches as lineart or pencil work but other artists mean that the artwork is unrefined.

Had a mom and her daughter come in to get glasses. The daughter dropped out of highschool to pursue a career in art. Her mom supported her and my coworker said her work was phenomenal. I took a look and it was all AI genrated.
