I keep trying to explain this to people and they are (depending on their sympathies) frightened about the Russian "advance" or gleeful. A lot of people seem to tune into this war on a once-in-a-while basis and miss a whole lot of detail and context.

🇹🇷 has let other military stuff pass--always on freighters, not military ships. S400 systems left Syria for 🇺🇦 this way, as well as RFA personnel. We've(🇮🇱) been watching, counting as they leave....suspect Syrian-factory Iranian drones went that route early on. Before we 🔥it. 😁

Best part, per one Ukrainian correspondent, was that even if this only makes a dent in oil revenue, the bigger issue is that these facilities were built with western infrastructure--which, once damaged/destroyed, cannot be replaced due to sanctions. 😁

I've always hated Holocaust movies; movies-to-make-gentiles-feel-good. The only one I really liked was Defiance, about the Bielski brothers. I DO give credit to Schindler's List for its popular impact--I left the theater and found people (not Jewish) sobbing in the parking lot.
