This is to my international colleagues that know some of the authors of the terrible observational studies of "drugs to treat COVID-19". Where you are you probably have no idea of the harm they are causing.

Odd: randomized controlled trial of *6000* people, simple daily pill lowering mortality in severe COVID seems to be getting *way less* attention than anecdote described by an investigator in a zoom call of a Remdesivir trial without placebo control https://t.co/40ckApLZ6J

Today Brigham Health held a vigil in memory of #GeorgeFloyd. Organized by internal medicine residents, we reflected on the injustice of systemic and individual racism in America, and affirmed our commitment to confronting & rooting out racism in our own lives and at the Brigham.

Stress CMR offers patients an accurate noninvasive option to diagnose heart disease with no use of ionizing radiation or nephrotoxic contrast agents. It is cost-effective to society and beneficial to patients.

In last 24 hrs there've been prominent US voices calling for a stop to social distancing, citing rationale that they're worse than impact of COVID itself. It’s worth looking very closely at that claim, where we are in US COVID epidemic and what happens if we stop. 1/x

That’s what I was thinking as well regarding stress testing. Once we know there is no left main disease with no significant lv systolic dysfunction, what are we achieving by doing stress test?

Hot take: #ISCHEMIA doesn’t just challenge invasive revascularisation but actually non-invasive stress testing of ischaemia. You need a CTCA to exclude LMS disease, but no PET/CMR/DSE, we if not sending to lab, then why are you doing it? #AHA19
