Being asked a really good question feels phenomenal. The type of question that leads to a thoughtful conversation where I almost have to collect my thoughts before diving into it. That scratches my brain so goood. It makes me feel so known and desired

Let’s move towards a future where children’s parents can be family.. together or not. You all have been robbing children of valuable experiences in the name of what? Insecurity?
@ceciATL Coparents are NOT family. Please stop this propaganda. Coparents are facilitators of a relationship with minors until they are able to do it themselves. Children with phones and access to media can have great relationships with both parents without the parents being “family”

It sounds crazy but once you step away from the endless entertainment machine, once you recover your ability to focus, the world around you becomes more fascinating. You find yourself hypnotized by falling snow or a 400-page book. You experience life as we were meant to live it.
Reading for 3 hours a day completely rearranges your nervous system. You stop feeling the urge to scroll. Your thinking becomes slower, calmer, and deeper. I experienced this today.

No shade, we don’t know the players.
🚨NEWS🚨 Hundreds of current #NFL players and league legends were asked at Radio Row this week and they did NOT KNOW BAD BUNNY songs. Multiple players that they asked even had no idea who Bad Bunny was. Some are angry that Bad Bunny was chosen as the halftime show performer.

Imagine one of these victims being a family member of yours, and realizing that we sacrificed their life because asking that people over 80 prove that they are still capable of driving safely would be "mean" or "unfair."
Newly released dashcam video shows the shocking moment a 92-year-old driver slammed into a Westwood grocery store, killing two employees and a customer and injuring others inside the bakery after striking a bicyclist about a block away, authorities said. Full Story:

100 books in a lifetime is such a small amount. in How to Write for Children (revised in 1998) Joan Aiken pulls data showing that the average child back then read 600 books before they reached adulthood. it’s amazing how quickly general literacy has plummeted
@PaulSkallas I suspect anyone who says he has read more than 100 books in his lifetime. A good book is read, re-read and still re-read. And you can't do this with more than a 100 books.

I can’t say enough how insane it is that no one knows how to sit in discomfort anymore. No one problem solves, no one does things that are hard or scary because lord forbid they experience a moment of displeasure.
