Love to see it. Markings and flexposts are going in for the west half of the Columbia Road protected bike lane, and crews are doing detail work on the floating bus stops and pedestrian islands.

Yes! 31 months ago, my daughter Nina was struck and killed by a driver. She worked for Azali. I would like for him to justify his objections to me personally!
DC restaurateur Saied Azali and his business partner had one of their workers get killed by a car while walking on Columbia Rd across from their restaurant, and now they're opposing proven pedestrian safety improvements there calling them "BAD FOR BUSINESS" 🚩🚩💀💀

One other thought from Paris: the bike planners in DC and some surrounding jurisdictions deserve a lot of kudos. Paris has a bunch of protected bike lanes, lots of bikeshare stations, and people cycling is a common sight. And DC has these things too!

This happened to me tonight: Car closely followed, honking from Lincoln to 100 block R St NE where I pulled over. They stopped & decided it was worth their time to spew expletives at me for biking on the road: hey I wish I was in a separate lane too! Sign
This was me and my friend and we are traumatized. @CMZParker5 the past week, there have been cars racing around the neighborhood trying to hit people on bikes. We called 911 but no one came, even though I know there are cops parked at Alethia Tanner doing nothing.
