Since 1999 I have visited Ukraine 2-4 times per year. Different cities and regions. Initially there was a Russian/Ukrainian language divide that related (but not squarely) to pro-Russian/pro-Ukrainian positions. That is long gone. Putin has forged Ukraine and will split Russia.
