Honoured to be awarded the Brodie Prize for our work, in which we problematise the theorising of Europe's East and Central Asia through western-centric perspectives and russia-centric frameworks, calling instead for the re-centering of the knowledges of (de)occupied societies

#OTD in 1946, the Doctors’ Trial, the first of the 12 Nuremberg Trials held after the International Military Tribunal, began. Among the 23 German physicians charged with WW2 medical crimes, 7 were sentenced to death, 9 to prison, and 7 were acquitted.

Russia has started to attack not only hospitals, but also pharmacies in Ukraine, endangering treatment of civilian population. This indicates continuation of a genocidal strategy adopted towards Ukrainian population by the russian state.
Russia destroyed the central warehouse of a pharmacy network in Dnipro — a facility built just last year and storing medicines for over 500 pharmacies across Ukraine.
