Not just 1x20 magic, but CNS recovery from months of football stress. When the fatigue drops and you pair it right (for me it’s 1×20) the strength doesn’t just return. The strength surges.

A big reason 1×20 hits so well early in the football off-season: The CNS can finally rebound from months of stress & sympathetic overload. Paired 1×20 with the rebound then some serious super compensation can occur. Ex: Multiple kids benching Week 1: 135×20. Week 2: 155×20

If you’re someone who likes %s, this can be a great starting point. From here, I’d recommend using the weights they got from the percents and begin pushing just 5-10lbs from previous cycle OR Just max and reset %s I don’t use %s for strength work, but this is a great way to do

Biggest structural steal in my program is from my friend @RonnieJankovich Warm-Up before the Warm-up. 10 minutes of optional work. Keeps you from harping on kids to get in and out of the locker room. Kids who want to truly work will find a way to be in the weight-room early
