The people who have spent 4 years arguing that Russian expansionism isn't a problem, and that the Ukraine war is the fault of the West, are now arguing that the US should annex Greenland to halt... Russian expansionism. Is Russian propaganda that good, or are they truly that dim?

Hard to know where to start on this potage … But let’s try. For a start if we built and ran gas-fired electricity generators at high load factor (as opposed increasingly to using them expensively when the wind don’t blow) the wholesale electricity price (without a carbon tax)
@afneil This mixes apples, oranges, and a bit of wishful thinking. £107/MWh is wholesale gas, not delivered electricity. Once you include power-station capex, O&M, inefficiency losses, balancing costs, and profit, gas-fired power is nowhere near £64/MWh in the real world. “Just remove

So Trump, the US president who wants joint energy projects in the Arctic with Russia and doesn’t give military aid to Ukraine, wants us to believe the US needs to own Greenland to defend itself from Russia?

Our Chairman @AlpMehm quoted in the Daily Sceptic - full article below. Don't believe politicians who tell you migration is falling! Almost a million people migrate to Britain every year: a consequence of our broken borders.
Net immigration is headed to zero this year, but don't be fooled. Inward migration is still eye-wateringly high. The 'net' figure is only going down because so many young Brits are fleeing Starmer's Britain.

You have no idea what you’re talking about. Like ministers. The £147/MWh for gas is an out of date assessment. Latest (2025) figure is £107/MWh. But much of that includes the carbon tax government slaps on gas. A policy choice which could easily be reversed. Strip that out
@afneil Neil is still wrong, and the deletion doesn’t change why. If you are choosing what to build for the next 30 years, new wind at £91/MWh is cheaper than new gas at £140+/MWh.

NEW: Trump told Reuters that Vladimir Putin is “ready to make a deal.” When asked what is preventing a deal, Trump replied: “Zelensky.” “I just think he’s, you know, having a hard time getting there,” Trump added. Putin’s puppet.

Dear energy is leading to the closure of UK factories, the premature run down of our oil and gas industry and our increasing reliance on imports. Paying too much for wind energy means fewer jobs and less tax revenue at home and more world CO 2 from the imports.

When a government interferes with elections, intent is the only thing that matters. Delaying a vote because you expect to lose is not administration. It is democratic evasion. And that is exactly what this Labour government is now engaged in. Under Keir Starmer, with Steve Reed

Liz Kendall: "We are determined to show women & girls are as safe online as we would want them to be in the real world." Ms Kendall voted against a gov't inquiry into the rape gang inquiry. Her words above are used for authoritarian gain. @leicesterliz

Milliband’s wind farm expansion could add £1.8 billion a year to UK energy bills. Labour doesn’t care about working people.
