In case you forgot it: Google does only recalculate the disavow command on crawling. That's been the case always. Since Penguin 4.0 they also do recalculate the "penguin signals" (i.e. spam signals) on re-crawling. That's great.

To give you an actual example I'm using the random casino domain here that . @ahrefs has 689 domains in the historical index (the other are smaller, obviously) Now when we run the whole domain, with all the link data sources combined in LinkResearchTools we get 4281. 2/7

Why is Link Detox Boost necessary? Google does not crawl all links all the time. Your strong homepage-link from the BBC doesn't need a boost. Links from new or poor pages need a boost. Typically links on very spammy sites are not recrawled for MONTHS.
